These Send Plus Prepaid Remittance Fee Bundle Terms (“Bundle Terms”) govern your purchase and use of Aspora Send Plus (“Send Plus”), an optional paid benefit period offered through the Aspora mobile application and any associated website or platform (together, the “Platform”). They form a binding and enforceable legal contract between you (“you”, “user”, “your”) and the Aspora entity that provides payment services in United Arab Emirates (“Aspora”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Note: These Bundle Terms are supplemental to, and form part of, the Aspora Terms of Service applicable to your country of use (the “Main Terms”). All defined terms used but not defined here have the meaning given in the Main Terms. Send Plus does not change the terms on which money transfers themselves are provided; it adds the benefits described below. Where these Bundle Terms conflict with the Main Terms in respect of Send Plus, these Bundle Terms prevail. Send Plus is a prepaid remittance fee bundle. It is not a deposit, savings, investment or insurance product, and it is not a subscription, and the fee is a one-time, upfront remittance fee that does not auto-renew.
Please read these Bundle Terms carefully before purchasing Send Plus. By purchasing Send Plus you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by them. This document contains important information about your benefits, what they cost, the absence of a refund or cancellation right, and a limitation of liability.
About these bundle terms
1.1. These Bundle Terms set out the terms on which we offer Send Plus to you, and on which you may purchase and use Send Plus and the benefits it includes.
1.2. Send Plus is offered in the United Arab Emirates, and only on the corridors where we have made it available. We may add, change or withdraw the availability of Send Plus in any country or corridor at any time.
1.3. We may amend these Bundle Terms in accordance with the Main Terms. The version of these Bundle Terms in force at the time you purchase a benefit period governs that benefit period for its term, except where a change is required by law or to correct an error. You can review the most current version on the Platform at any time.
2. What Send Plus is
2.1. Send Plus is a three (3) month benefit period. Purchasing Send Plus entitles you, for the duration of your benefit period, to the following benefits, each subject to these Bundle Terms:
2.1.1 Free transfers — a one-time allocation of free-transfer credits that waive the transfer fee on eligible transfers (Clause 6);
2.1.2. On-time transfer guarantee — a benefit-period variant of the Aspora guarantee under which a late transfer results in an extension of your benefit period rather than a cash payout (Clause 7); and
2.1.3. Priority support — access to 24×7 human call support, including a “request a callback” facility (Clause 8).
2.2. The benefits are personal to you and to the Aspora account through which Send Plus was purchased. They are not transferable, not assignable, and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged, sold, or combined with any other person’s account or benefits.
3. Eligibility
3.1. To purchase Send Plus you must hold an active, verified Aspora account in a country or corridor where Send Plus is available, and you must meet all eligibility requirements under the Main Terms, including the minimum age requirement.
3.2. Send Plus is offered to settled, existing users only. We do not pitch or offer Send Plus to a user during their first three (3) transactions, as that period is covered by separate new-user offers and the Aspora Guarantee welcome window. A user in that welcome window who nevertheless opts into Send Plus thereby ends the welcome-window offer for that user.
3.3. Whether, when and at what price Send Plus is offered to you is determined by us in our sole discretion and may differ between users (see Clause 4). We may decline to offer Send Plus, or decline a purchase, without giving reasons, to the extent permitted by law.
3.4. Only one (1) active Send Plus benefit period may exist per Aspora account at any time.
4. Benefit period and pricing
4.1. Term. Your benefit period begins on the date your purchase is confirmed (the start date) and ends three (3) months after that date (the end date), unless extended under Clause 7. The start date and end date applicable to your benefit period are shown to you at the point of purchase and on your Send Plus page.
4.2. List price and your price. Send Plus has a fixed list price that is displayed on the Platform. The price you actually pay (your “resolved price”) may be lower than the list price where a promotional discount applies to you. Any discount is determined by us on a per-user basis and may vary between users; some users will pay the list price. The same resolved price is shown to you across every surface of the Platform within a given session. Where no discount applies to you, you pay the list price.
4.3. Price you pay, governs. The price disclosed to you at the point of purchase, after any applicable discount, is the price that governs your purchase. Any savings figures, break-even points or comparison values shown to you are estimates calculated against your resolved price and are provided for information only; they do not form part of the contract and are not a promise of future savings.
4.4. Taxes. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise on the Platform.
5. Purchase and payment
5.1. You may purchase Send Plus on its own from the Send Plus page, or together with a money transfer in a single combined payment (a “bundled purchase”). In a bundled purchase, the Send Plus fee is added on top of the amount you are sending and any applicable transfer fee; it is shown as a separate line item.
5.2. One-time charge. The Send Plus fee is a single, one-time charge for the three-month term. It is not a recurring payment. We do not store a payment mandate for, and will not automatically re-bill you for, Send Plus. There is no auto-renewal (see Clause 11).
5.3. Where available, you may apply Aspora Cash towards the Send Plus price at the point of purchase. The amount payable after any discount and any Aspora Cash applied is shown to you on the review screen before you confirm.
5.4. Payment is taken through the same payment flow used for ordinary transfers. Your benefit period becomes active, and your free-transfer credits are issued, only once payment is confirmed.
6. Free transfer credits
6.1. On confirmation of your purchase, we credit your account with fifty (50) free-transfer credits. Each credit waives the standard transfer fee on one eligible transfer. There is no per-transfer fee cap on the amount of money you may send using a free-transfer credit, provided that all transfers remain subject to your applicable account-level transfer limits, AML monitoring rules, and any other restrictions under the Main Terms.
6.2. One (1) credit is consumed per completed transfer. A transfer that fails or is cancelled does not consume a credit.
6.3. The fifty-credit allocation is a fair-usage limit for the term. Once your credits are exhausted, further transfers during the term are charged the standard transfer fee.
6.4. Free-transfer credits expire on your benefit period end date (as extended under Clause 7, if applicable). Credits are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable, and any unused credits are forfeited on expiry of the benefit period and cannot be reinstated.
6.5. Free-transfer credits are not the same as, and do not affect, any separate free transfers, cash rewards or promotions you may hold under the Main Terms or any other Aspora programme, which remain subject to their own terms (including the Rewards Expiry Policy in the Main Terms).
7. On-time transfer guarantee (benefit period variant)
7.1. While your benefit period is active, the on-time transfer guarantee applies to your eligible transfers in place of the standard cash payout under the Aspora Guarantee. If an eligible transfer is not completed within the committed turnaround time (a “TAT breach”), we will extend your benefit period end date instead of paying you cash.
7.2. Extension. Each TAT breach extends your benefit period by seven (7) days. Extensions apply per breached transfer and may chain across multiple breaches, up to a maximum total extension of twenty-eight (28) days per benefit period.
7.3. No double recovery. The benefit period extension replaces, and is granted instead of, the cash payout under the Aspora Guarantee. You will receive one remedy per breach and never both a cash payout and an extension for the same breach.
7.4. Effect on credits. An extension also extends the expiry of your free-transfer credits to the new benefit period end date. If an extension is granted and you have no free-transfer credits remaining, we may add a limited number of additional free-transfer credits to cover the extension window.
7.5. Exclusions. The on-time guarantee does not apply where the delay arises from any circumstance excluded under the Aspora Guarantee, including (without limitation) delays caused by a request for further information or documentation, an invalid, incomplete or amended beneficiary, or where the transfer is refunded. These exclusions apply to the on-time guarantee in the same way as under the Main Terms.
7.6. Where an extension is applied, we will notify you (for example, on the transaction details for the affected transfer).
8. Priority support
8.1. While your benefit period is active, you may access 24×7 human call support and request a callback through the Platform. Where we display an expected callback or wait time, that time is an estimate and a service target only; it is not a guarantee, and actual response times may vary depending on demand and operational conditions.
9. No cancellation, refund or trial
9.1. Send Plus is sold as a complete three-month benefit period. There is no free trial, no cancellation facility, and no refund of the Send Plus fee once a benefit period has been purchased and is active, except where a refund is required by applicable law or is expressly provided for in Clause 10.
9.2. By purchasing Send Plus you acknowledge that the benefits (including issuance of your free-transfer credits and access to priority support) are made available to you immediately on purchase, and you agree that the Send Plus fee is non-refundable on that basis, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Bundle Terms removes or limits any non-excludable statutory rights you may have.
10. Bundled purchases and transaction failures
10.1. This Clause 10 applies where you purchase Send Plus together with a money transfer in a single bundled purchase.
10.2. Payment fails. If the payment leg of a bundled purchase fails, nothing is charged: no money transfer is made, no Send Plus benefit period is created, and no credits are issued. Standard transfer-failure handling under the Main Terms applies.
10.3. Payment succeeds but the transfer cannot be fulfilled. If your payment succeeds but the money transfer cannot be completed (for example, because of an invalid beneficiary that is not corrected), we will refund the transfer amount only. Your Send Plus benefit period remains active, because your purchase of the benefit period stands independently of that transfer, and your Send Plus page will confirm the active state.
10.4. Refunds of the transfer amount are processed through our payment partners and may be subject to the operational capabilities of those partners in your corridor. Where a partial refund of a bundled payment cannot be supported in a particular corridor, we will refund through the means available to us. The on-time guarantee exclusions in Clause 7 apply to any transfer affected by this Clause 10.
11. Renewal
11.1. Send Plus does not renew automatically. Your benefit period simply ends on its end date unless you choose to purchase a new benefit period.
11.2. If you wish to continue after your term ends, you may purchase a new benefit period through the Platform, subject to eligibility and to the price and terms then in effect. The price and terms of any future benefit period may differ from those of your current benefit period.
12. Changes, suspension and termination
12.1. We may suspend, withdraw or terminate Send Plus, your benefit period, or any benefit, where we are entitled to suspend or terminate your access to the Services under the Main Terms (including for a Restricted Activity, suspected fraud, or to comply with law or regulatory requirements), or where required to do so by law.
12.2. If we withdraw Send Plus generally, existing benefit periods will continue to be honoured for their remaining term, except where we are required to act otherwise by law or where your benefit period is terminated for the reasons described in Clause 12.1.
12.3. On expiry or termination of your benefit period, all unused free-transfer credits and Send Plus benefits lapse with immediate effect, and subsequent transfers are charged the standard transfer fee.
13. Limitation of liability
13.1. The limitation of liability, disclaimer and indemnity provisions of the Main Terms apply to Send Plus and are incorporated into these Bundle Terms by reference, in addition to anything set out in this Clause 13.
13.2. Savings estimates, break-even figures, callback or wait-time estimates, and similar indicative information shown in connection with Send Plus are provided for information only. We do not warrant that you will achieve any particular level of saving, and your actual benefit depends on how you use the Platform during your term.
13.3. Nothing in these Bundle Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
14. General
14.1. These Bundle Terms are supplemental to the Main Terms. Except as expressly modified here in respect of Send Plus, the Main Terms continue to apply in full, including the provisions on acceptance of terms, restricted activities, data, security, governing law, jurisdiction and dispute resolution.
14.2. If any provision of these Bundle Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14.3. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Bundle Terms is not a waiver of that or any other provision. Headings are for reference only and do not affect interpretation.
14.4. You may not assign or transfer your Send Plus benefit period or any benefit under it. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Bundle Terms in accordance with the Main Terms.
